How long have you been a photographer?
A long time! I started about 15 years ago and have loved every minute of it. I started on film and transitioned about to digital when it was all the craze.
Do you have a studio?
Yes, I do have a commercial portrait studio located in Saint Paul, MN. There is parking along the street and in a few parking lots nearby. My studio is in a brick and timber commercial building which offers many options for backgrounds during your photo session. Added bonus, my studio is on top of a coffee shop and within walking distance of keys cafe.
How would you define your style?
The photography style is influenced and rooted from film production. It is all about light and texture of film, how creative lighting plays and contrasts with the subject. From film to digital production, we continue to reinvent ourselves for a better service to our clients.
What is included with my package fee?
The package fee covers everything that is listed in the package.
Each fee covers the session fee, the time and talent of the photographer, standard editing, digitals and if your package includes prints the fee covers that as well.
There are no hidden fees and you receive every single item in the package for the one package price
Do you offer digitals?
All of my packages are "All-Inclusive" which means each package comes with digitals. They are apart of the package price. The digitals are delivered to you through a download for fastest delivery of your images.
Do you edit all of your photos?
Yes, every single photo that you will view are professionally edited, one by one, and by hand.
Are the edits on the photos of professional quality?
Each and every photo that you will see in your proofing gallery will be edited. The edits preformed are done creatively and edited masterly. We do our own edits and are carefully retouched by our post production team. We ensure the quality of the photos produced is of high quality. How do I book a session with Giliane E Mansfeldt Photography?
Yes, we do have promotional discount on selected packages. Please join our mailing list for exclusive updates on our special offers and discounts. We also offer discount for returning clients.
Is there a charge if I request an extra hour during photo session?
We will require an extra charge of $100 per hour.
What is your cancellation policy?
Yes, you may cancel 48 in advance before your booking session date. Failure to meet the specified hours means forfeiture of the retainer fee.
Can I book through your social media account?
We prefer to book our sessions through email or phone correspondence. Our social media accounts help us connect with our clients and share our studio updates. However, we will not say no to booking through social media accounts.
Can I request for a reschedule of the photo shoot?
Yes, you are allowed to reschedule once for a valid reason especially for children who are sick. The health and safety of our client is a top priority.
How long before I will see my proofing gallery?
After the photo session is completed, your gallery will be available 2-3 weeks. You will receive an email containing your link to your password protected gallery.
How long will it take to get my prints?
After placing your order and been fully paid, the final print will be delivered approximately in 2 weeks unless other arrangements have been made.
Can I bring my own props for the studio photo shoot?
Yes, you are allowed to bring props you like to include in the photo shoot. We require that you speak with the photographer before the shoot so we have time to plan the shoot accordingly. Props need to be approved by the studio so that the props meet the safety standard required by the studio.
